Tyrell Williams is stepping up in 2016 for the San Diego Chargers

24-year old WR Tyrell Williams is the kind of receiver that QB Philip Rivers has always seemed to like throwing to, as he is a big target at 6’4″, 205 pounds.  He played in 4 games (0 starts) for the San Diego Chargers in his first taste in the NFL in 2015 in which he caught 2 passes for 90 yards (45.0 avg) with 1 TD grab.  Williams is breaking out this season for the Chargers.  Williams has played in 9 games (5 starts) for the Chargers so far this year and he has caught 38 passes for 595 yards (15.7 avg) with 3 TD grabs.  He has caught 38 of the 60 passes (63.3%) of the passing thrown in his direction so far this year.  The Chargers hope that Williams keeps up the good work.
